1. Plug the phone into your computer. The phone will display 3 options, choose USB drive.

2. Your PC should "Auto Play" the device and come up with a list of option to work with. Choose "Open folder to view files". If it does not come up with the "auto play" option, just click on "My Computer" and you should see "PALM PRE" as one of you removable storage devices. Open that.

3. Once you have that open, go to Tools-> Folder Options and click on the View tab across the top. Look for "Hidden files and folders" and make sure "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Then click "OK".

4. You should see a folder named ".app-storage", open that folder.

5. You should then see a list of folders, one of which is named "file_.media.cryptofs.app.usr.palm.applications.com.wpsee.hours" or something similar. Open that folder.

6. You should then see a file named   000000000002.db or something similar, ending in .db

7. Right click on that file, select COPY

8. Go to your desktop and right click in some clear space and select PASTE. You should then see that file on your desktop.

9. Close those folders and go back to "My Computer", right click on the PALM PRE drive and select "Eject".
